Yana Payusova - ...Told Me I Would Die
The Boston Globe

The Boston Globe has a great article about Yana Payusova, who is a Russian-born artist who does paintings and drawings of her childhood experiences in Russia. Payusova, who currently lives in Jamica Plains, is out with her most recent series titled 'When My Neighbor Told Me I Would Die' which will have a showing soon at the DeCordova Museum and Scupture Park. She had a showing this past October at the Howard Yezerski Gallery, and has been in a number of recent one women's and group showings, such as her most recent, Sultana's Dream at Exit Art in New York. Be sure to also check out her work on her web site.
