Make Way for Sharks

Local Design: Sharks and Rays

So if you have not seen this ad campaign and you live in Boston, you should really start getting out more, because they are everywhere and I think its a pretty good campaign designed by Mullen that is strictly for Boston, and Boston only. The only thing that bothers me is that its Sharks and Rays at the New England Aquarium, but all the advertisements seem to be relating to sharks and no rays. When in Boston the best and only great ads are the iPods that you can't run from, these really can catch your eye, but what is great is how they used all the advertising spaces such as at Park Street. Checkout the photos of all the advertisements. Also be sure to checkout the quick blur by The Boston Globe about the campaign. Would love to hear your opinion on the campaign!

The main difference between sharks and rays is their body shape. And in addition to the flattened body, the pectoral fins of rays are higher connected to those of sharks, and they are fused to the head, resulting in the unique body shape and swimming movements of rays.
